The basic reason for the sector's collapse, of course, is that in general it needs a huge amount of high yield financing to continue to build out and challenge the incumbent Rboc's. Yes, but WCII is getting tarred with the wired CLEC brush. Totally different CAPX to potential lines. People need telecom; bandwidth demand will continue to grow; broadband wireless can offer a more flexible value proposition if the economy tanks. Since WCII seems to have sufficient cash on hand, downside risk is now far less than upside potential, IMO. ww
