Is there anyone as frustrated as I am that the Dow is not following the Nasdaq down? Nasdaq is down more than 300 points in the last 6 trading sesssions whereas the Dow has barely moved. Thus while we are now almost 30% off our highs, we are still not "officially" in a bear market even though for all practical purposes we are. Shouldn't the definition of what constitutes a bear market be officially changed? The Dow is too narrow and unrepresentative to tell the whole story. Sorry had to get my frustrations out.
