It really is amazing how subject to manipulation these vse stocks are .the whole oil and gas sector as well as the overall market is turning to dust .the oil service and oil stocks other than a few majors have been beaten up unmercifully ,and yet on no news epic has doubled .it essentially has no proven reserves no money and no apparent joint venture partner .its hard to imagine why it has gone up other than there is information known about the company to a few that has not been released.a couple of my absolute clunker small gold stocks suddenly on no news went from 5 cents to 25 cents on no news i bailed out thankful to get a little money out and now for no reason are back down to 5 cents again. we are in complete agreement about the small golds ,the problem is to identify the good ones.one of mine pangea has doubled in the last month or so again on no apparent news that has been released to my knowledge . there are some absolutely compelling values in the oil service sector right now with great companies trading for pes of less than 10 and yet they continue to drop. who knows where this is all going to end up with the market going from extreme optimism to extreme pessimism in a short period of time.who knows what will happen with epic .the only thing that i have learnt with these small stocks is that you have to get out when its going up rather than on the way down due to lack of liquidity .it certainly was nice to see independent confirmation of the credentials of mr sinclair which came through on the board a little whle ago .arh
