Actually I'm talking more like 30% tax rates. Arthur Laffer didn't invent his curve, and nobody disputes it's truth. What he did was start a debate on where we are on it. Sadly, the debate fizzled out. I happen to believe we are well into the diminishing returns area. Others may disagree. Socialists would rather just ignore the subject. They are big on promises but have no concept of cost. Doesn't anyone out there care to defend my eloquence?
