Here is the rosiest picture I can paint for longs:

Here are the two coinciding events: The market, especially Nasdaq, is very weak and Checkfree is building what hopes to be a successful company. The best case scenario is that Checkfree becomes very successful and the market comes back strong. So this time period we are in now is a true BUYING opportunity if you believe that they will be successful in the long run and you have a long-term time horizon.

Instead of a strong market now, if you believe in CKFR, where you buy expensive shares, you have the opportunity to buy cheap shares because of market weakness and a correction in the Internet sector. I think this same feeling goes for a lot of technology/internets....

Cash is king to maximize opportunity to buy cheap shares of plenty of companies...I think the long-term holders will be winners because the market will come back and all of this e-commerce stuff we read about, discuss, debate, some of us take trips to Florida, constantly, over and over is for real...JMO
