jack has explained his theory pretty well and i think i understand it. but, i don't understand why you would have sold on the gap. would that have been because of jack's theory or becuae you just would have sold it?

also, what is this "hitting bottom and turning up 1 point" to give people who missed the two tick rule another place to get out. how do you know when the stock has hit bottom and gone back up 1 point?

starting in 1997, i will try to work this theory. i have been unable to sell my intcw until next year due to having to report a very large cap gain. much rather pay uncle sam in 1998 for 1997 than in 1997 for 1996..

by the way, who is jack raines? why do people on this thread pay so much attention to him. i have only been on this thread for thirty days but he does seem to be the predominant guru.
