Glad to see you back and well. I still use my granny's cast iron skillet even though I have a full set of Cusinart. Gotta burn some grease in it from time to time to keep it good. <<I just remember that big grey blob of grease on a wooden spoon..>> When stirred there were lots of black things that came up. What a smell!! Real eggs tasted like .... real eggs. Funny but we never thought about leaving the popcorn can outside with the lid off so the moths could leave. I can remember fondly having a meal of popcorn popped in bacon grease, little salt and pepper and pour in some hot buttermilk. Eat it on the porch because air conditioning hasn't gotten out of the picture houses yet.
