Webbroker's "order canceled" should be taken with a grain of salt.

Today, I got a clear "order cancelled" message for a sale of 1000 shares of SIRN at 3 7/8 (at the bid) in an IRA account. I later tried to re-sell the shares at 4 3/32. Webbroker accepted, but would not display the order. Then, about 45 minutes after the market closed, the relevant records in webbroker were changed, and I saw that the 3 7/8 order had executed.

Question: have any of you gotten any compensation or even free trades for such screw ups in the past? If so, who have you spoken with? I did retain the screen capture of webbroker's first screen.

TIA,

Dave
