Well you know j_b, Ive been thinking about this lately. I am not a psychologist obviously so this is just an observation based on my own experiences. Just a disclaimer before I get completely blasted for having this opinion. :-)

As you know I once worked at Oracle which was run by Ellison who many claim has this same problem. When I was hired at Oracle there was an obvious glass ceiling for women everywhere in technology imo. Only Apple had a woman in the top ranks (Debi Coleman) who coincidentally had a negative appearance. The only company that didnt seem to have this problem was Oracle - no glass ceiling at Oracle, easily 50% women in R&D (unlike ANY other high tech company I saw), etc. You can see the results of this environment today because enterprise software is full of women at all levels. The top female exec in town might be Katrina Garnett who comes from Oracle (theres others I know but Katrina is up there). Meanwhile Larry was hitting on everybody. So what? This means he doesnt like women?

To me Clinton seems very much like that. He puts all these top (emphasis on TOP) women in good slots around him and is well liked by all these women. He seems to have an insatiable sexual appetite and cant resist some of his admirers. I still think that, like Larry, if BC hits on you and you arent interested you can just say, no thanks. I dont think he forces himself on anybody, but the fact is hes desirable and can get away with it so he does.... and it could be, that because of this lifestyle, he is more comfortable with women than other men are, I dont know (I think that about Larry).

OTOH I see this interview with the Rutherford Institute guy on 60 minutes - obviously an intelligent individual he was, his wife is a complete bumbling IDIOT - obvously in her late 40s and giggling on her interview like a real mental lightweight, to me it did not appear that Mr. and Mrs. Rutherford Institute were intellectual equals. Why would he marry someone like that? Because he is afraid of power or intelligence in women thats why, and that is the same reason he makes movies where some militia comes in and rips off some housewifes apron and shoves a business suit and a briefcase in her hand. Now THERE is a man that hates women - or hates good women.

So, I guess I just dont agree with the psychologists.... I wonder how many of them are women?
