RE: LEAPS and calls

Those November 60's are risky. Either sell them, or sell the same number of November 65's against them to create a spread. If the 60's expire worthless, the 65's will too, and you will have cut your loss a little bit. If a sudden burst puts Dell over 65, you'll make $500 per contract (approximately)but no more. Remember you have to sell if your option is in the money before it expires if you don't want to end up with a long position (or with a spread with both legs in the money both a long and short position) and you claim not to have the margin (but if Dell is > $60 you may have. In you buying and selling, take your time and try to sell a limit order at a tad less than the Ask, or when buying a limit order at a tad more than the Bid. No reason to give away all of the price spread to the MM.
