Re: Nimh/NiCad/Real Goods. I re-read these various posts and it seems some think that NO ecd liscencee has licked this NiMh problem? Foget harding or any other specific manufacturer for discussion purposes. Bob Stempel stated in a recent analyst call that 600,000,000 consumer NiMh cells had been sold in the last year.(I've heard lower and higher). Surely not all of these people could have been duped into buying a non-performing chemistry? The last number I saw said that 1,200,000,000 NiCads are sold per year. You will find that the changeout is happening big time between NiCad and NiMh. Surely Real Goods can find some manufacturer, to their liking, of our environmentally more friendly chemistry? Or is Real Goods right, and 600mm NiMh new owners per year are wrong? These people are not being forced into a changeover (except the unlucky Swiss). I submit that is great news for the company AND great news for the environment.
