I don't agree. The market has every right to be skittish and volatile.

When the person who is supposed to know what's going on comes out and says that the current economic environment has surprised him (Alan Greenspan) and has taken a sudden and dramatic change in direction, it is understandable that Wall Street will be jumpy at best and panicky at worst.

Then add that the street has given a very clear signal to the Fed that they are continuing to maintain too tight a bias and we get the complete opposite of irrational exuberance! The dollar is starting to plummet and, as a direct affect, gold is starting to rise. As gold and precious metals become a more attractive sector to invest in, this will continue to pressure the overall U.S. equities markets, IMO.

All this has a direct effect on overall investor sentiment and one of the first areas to be hit will be those companies with high risk/reward scenarios. I believe the first question that VTSS shareholders/traders must ask themselves is as follows. Has the sudden change in the global economic situation directly affected this company's short, medium, and long term outlooks?

I am curious to hear other's opinions and TIA.

Michael
