After the market closed yesterday, KISS put out a PR saying they didn't know of any fundamental reason causing their stock to fall the way it did, that the drilling was going well, and that there were no geological surprises to date. biz.yahoo.com In actuality, the selling Tuesday amounted to only a small fraction of the buying that had been going on in recent weeks. I suspect Ike's second reason was the culprit - after the rapid rise in share price (some buyers more than doubled their initial share buy price) and the apparent flattenning out at 2 1/2 or so, some traders decided to take profits and go to the sidelines while waiting for further news. It didn't take much selling yesterday morning for others to do the same and the MM's made sure to lower their bid after almost every sell. More rational behavior today with the stock price making a more gradual recovery - most of the 67k shares traded were buys. tscn.com Future share behavior should be interesting and may be a precurser of upcoming news, good or bad.
