By my calculation, cash net of debt is $3 share. I agree I'm probably selling at the bottom. Long term I'm concerned about Al Stein and his ability to get a good return for shareholders. His long term record is not stellar in this regard, but the stock at 7 and change is cheap. It has not paid to be a long term holder of this equity. The aim players have the right idea in this regard.

The second longer term issue relates to the ASIC model. All the excess semiconductor capacity out there means that earning a decent return on any capital deployed to make chips will be extremely hard. In this environment, I think it pays to be a fabless company and sub out the manufacture to a foundry.

Short term I'm concerned about mutual fund tax loss selling and possible redemptions. I hope I'm wrong.
