VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Dayton Mining Corporation (TSE, AMEX: DAY) is pleased to announce that its Andacollo Gold Mine located in central Chile produced a record 25,076 ounces of gold, at a cash operating cost of US$226 per ounce, for the quarter ending September 30, 1998.
