Dear beach, I would concur with Clare 100%. CSCO would not get involved with the purchase of ASND, especially with their stock falling so quickly out of favor (never would have guessed that). The only other "outside" play for ASND, and they would have to outbid LU for the company (in my opinion, and my opinion only) would be INTC. INTC needs an additional pipeline to support growth while margins continue to diminish in the chip sector. I doubt they will play for ASND, but they certainly have the resources, market penetration, and the NEED for new product growth and an income source. I still think LU is our only real player, and until we see some sustained market strength, I would bet on anything going down. The Nasdaq is taking one of its worst beating since its inception, from 2000ish to current levels (who would have thought?). Good luck, Jamie
