Hi Glenn,
How's your portoflio doing. Hard to believe so many people think their favorite stocks should be operating in a vacuum. I'm not so stupid to believe that, but sure dumb enough to be sitting on piles that may have a long road ahead, much of it may still be downhill.
I do have some confusion, that maybe an educated person such as yourself (or anyone else who is giving this some thought) could comment on:
1.) Why, if Japan's major banks are teetering on collapse, and decade lows of their markets, is the dollar plummeting against the yen?
2.) Despite the fact that financial institutions are finally getting their due (it's been almost a year since Asia hiccuped), many of the Dow stocks, dependant on international strength, are still selling at outrageous multiples. Do we have to wait till they collapse to reasonable prices before a rebound/recovery can occur in earnest?
Any opinions on these issues would be appreciated. Predictors of the doubling of FORE in a month need not respond.
