As to the "no-defense defense", that evasive testimony in a politically motivated moribund civil suit constitutes an impeachable offense, whether or not it would ever be taken to court in any other context, well, it seems more substantial than most of the stuff that gets thrown out here. I'm sure you can't wait for the "Who killed Vince Foster" debate to be revived in the House. Just because the grand inquisitor Ken Starr couldn't dig up anything worth mentioning there, or on filegate, or travelgate, or Whitewater, or who knows what else, doesn't mean it's not worth another try.
As for the Christian contingent, if someone can explain to me how comparing Clinton to Caligula fits into some reasonable formulation of Christianity, I'll read respectively. Seems like a stretch to me. |
