Jay, In defense of Miss Payne. I think we all start to feel a bit proprietary on each of our own boards. We know and trust the people and when someone shows up out of the blue and makes angry comments it's as if someone came and sprayed graffiti on your property-- I think we react emotionally. I responded the other day to these other threads because I thought that someone was trying to feed them a line about REFR and thought they would appreciate the facts. I was angry and not in the mood to hear the other side. As you can see from the discourse that transpired we all agreed that the product would be the key and all other things are moot. I greatly admired Mr. Babb for calling Joe Harary and can see that he and his son are well-versed in the ways of the market. They are not like the shorts who just come on and scream obscenities and then disappear. As you know I never have expected anyone to take my word for anything. I was cautioning people to do their own verification. It is when you KNOW the principals involved and all the steps that this will take (and it is NO cake walk) that you can then determine if indeed the company is heading in the right direction. Our recent enthusiasm sounds no different to a newcomer than the hype you hear on a lot of internet boards. They can't KNOW what we know. Jonathan was correct to ask the questions. He doesn't know that I sent people to the SPIE glass show in July to check out the booth and the industry reaction. He doesn't know that we spoke with Hankuk's president and saw many interesting reactions from competitors in the rear view mirror department. Everyone is entitled to put their money where they believe it will have the most growth. I have chosen REFR. I happen to believe that we are in store for some incredible returns but I won't really know that until the product is sold and we see the actual market acceptance. I am basing my belief on the feedback I have heard so far. Others are not privileged to what I am and they should NOT buy this stock just because I said that I believe it will do well. Every one of the investors with whom I have dealt have made their own calls to the company, Dr. Lampert, and various licensees. They have read the media written by various publications. Larry Smith has done incredible DD and his posts are always eagerly awaited by longs and shorts alike. He's a no nonsense straight shooter. We will all know soon enough what the final outcome will be. It is stupid to put it on the level of a sophomoric sports contest. REFR will determine the winners. ND
