Dear Steve, The premium should be irrelevant based on your assumption (i.e., culture clash). Yes I believe some of LU's purchases have been laughers for the folks at ASND, CSCO, etc., however, ASND & CSCO realize that if one of LU's odd ball takeovers pays dividends, then who will really be laughing? LU's recent acquisitions cost them virtually nothing. They could have used the same money to pay shareholder dividends. LU is gambling, and eventually every player is dealt a blackjack, wouldn't you agree? regards, Jamie
