Maybe this will help understand what is going on with SuperExpress and passwords:

1. When you first access the Datek site (by clicking on "Portfolio", etc.) your browser will give you a password prompt. This prompt is as a result of the Datek site asking for a password.

2. The password that you enter in the SuperExpress form is used in a different way. It fills-in a form field that is sent to the Datek site. Form fields are NOT the same as password prompts. What Datek is doing is really quite unconventional. They are having you supply the password as a form field with each submission. This is required IN ADDITION to the basic authentication that you do once.

Datek's web server won't let you access anything until you've completed the basic authentication. Unfortunately, there is no way that SuperExpress can do this for you. Your browser MUST receive the special "authentication required" messages directly from Datek's server before you will get the password prompt.

They may not be expecting to receive a password in the form field out of sequence with the basic authentication, and that may be causing problems when you fill-in the password in the form first. What *should* happen is that you should still get a password prompt.
