What kind of suit did your ancestors wear 2000 years ago?

A half decent suit today is between 350 and 500 but a good one is closer to 750.

One ounce Gold is approximately 700 times the price of a cup of coffee.

Did tribbles espouse that ancient concept in 3035 when the Ferengis invaded Zon-3 for dyprosium extract and yub yub tree balm?

I wonder.

I know some of my ancestors had steel swords and gold amulet torques even 5000 years before that. Haavens knows where they mined it. (I suspect Czechoslovakia) They were rather weird guys and terrible fighty drunks. They used 30 ton obelisks as form of currency. Sort of hard to deal but no one would waltz off with yer coin in a hurry.

Gold has fallen some terrible during ready supply of the metal in times gone by. Once it near fell to half its normal value for many years. I think that was around the 17 century.

Too much of it ruined Spain's economy.

Silver was always 30 to one with gold.
