Look at $ weakening in 92 and you will appreciate what long term benefits this will have on this market-- ASEA and latin America are relieved so is China and Russia. $ strength cut into profits of US global corporates as a result of translation adjusment. Weaken $ will result in 6 months time expensive imports and rising prices, across the board falling prices are termed as deflationary, a little inflation may be good here. ASEA LATAM will be quite relieved to see pressures off their currencies...
