another question from Pete I thought worth sharing:
What do you suppose is the next step for NRL? Why did the price drop so dramatically despite no real news, good or bad, from the drill site? What needs to happen to push the sock up again and when do you think this might happen?
Dear Pete:
The next step is "Business as Usual". Falconbridge will resume drilling with two machines, I'm told, once they've done all the borehole geophysics on the currently completed holes and received assays and geochemistry. The downhole probe bit the dust, and a new one was shipped out from Canada recently. Don't forget, they've got a mineralized horizon at least 10km long to test. The Falco guys on the ground there want to hit an elephant-sized deposit without wasting any holes, so interpretation of data is VERY important. This bit of down time has let Len Taylor and David Comba evaluate the results to date: they have significant input to Falconbridge, the operator.
Talking with Dave, a Director of NAR, makes me want to send my resume to Falco and take English lessons so I can work in Zimbabwe! What a juicy project to be involved with!
Cheers! |
