FILELINK AND SWISSRAY ANNOUNCE RESELLER RELATIONSHIP
Minneapolis, October 8, 1998 – FileLink Corporation today announced that it reached a reseller agreement with Swissray Information Solutions of Gig Harbor, Washington, a division of Swissray (Nasdaq: SRMID). Swissray will resell FileLink Medical Archive Software™ in the U.S. and Europe.
FileLink Medical Archive Software (MAS) provides storage and retrieval services to front-end applications in a client/server environment. MAS supports the DICOM standard for exchange of medical imagery, and also is capable of storing and retrieving non-DICOM information from the same server.
"Swissray is a great company to be allied with," said Rick Berglund, FileLink's CEO. "They have innovative image capture technology and are increasingly respected as a supplier of a range of medical image management tools."
According to the two companies, Swissray has already installed FileLink Medical Archive Software at two sites in conjunction with its AddOn-Multi-System, a direct digital radiography device. By year-end, Swissray plans to begin selling a standalone medical image archive solution based on FileLink's software.

According to Baker, Swissray plans to market the standalone archive both in the United States and in Europe, where its parent company is headquartered. "Our distribution network is well established in Europe and we are strengthening U.S. channels through relationships with various companies who supply the domestic market with healthcare technologies," said Baker.
