I have also been wondering whether the LTCM fiasco could be a causative factor... Leverage, Leverage, Even if LTCM is not heavily or directly invested in Dell, such a huge amount of leverage in a dropping market will cause any hedge fund that was invested in Dell to be in big trouble. Any of the funds which own shares outright or individuals who are not margined should be okay in a month or so. TP
