I agree about being forward-looking at this time. With the share price at this level, it really does no good to look back at the past and say "what should I have done",etc... The question at this time should be: at this price level, should one sell or stay?
Selling at this price level-with most of the risk already gone by virtue of the sharp fall in price already taken place? That option does not appeal to me. I choose to believe that over the past 6 months or so, a lot of the leg work which is necessary for the signing of contracts has been getting done (independent of the extreme volatility of the share price) and that this company is now closer to "signed/sealed/delivered" contracts now than ever before. For the impatient among us, it would be good to keep in mind that we are talking about international deals with foreign telephone companies, which of course would take some time to get done, IMO. Jimmy chin has been traveling extensively over hte past several months, establishing the kind of connections/leg work necessary to get these deals done. At this point, I would like to wait and give the company a chance to complete the work it has set out to do.
The announcement of 1 or 2 completed contracts will instantly revive the share price, IMO. A lot of people, "small" as well as "big" investors, are now sitting on the sidelines, waiting for the signing of the initial contract(s), which would prove the company's model of being a global IP telephony company is REAL. Once they see this initial "proof", they certainly will be investing in DGIV. |
