<<A woman's rights over her own reproductive system>>

Without venturing into a debate over abortion, there is still some question in this country as to whose rights should prevail, the mother's or the baby's. Many people feel that the fetus is a person and is also entitled to individual rights. I don't think a discussion of abortion helps either side - it's just too difficult to come to any agreement about the basic ingredients of the discussion.

<<If the President's secret Grand Jury testimony can be dumped into the public domain, for the entire world to see, what can the average person expect?>>

Most GJ becomes public during the trial. The difference here (and it wasn't the Republicans alone that did this - 2/3 of the Democrats also approved it) is that it was released prior to the trial. It was done legally and above board.

Of course, some individual rights that have suffered some erosion would include 2nd amendment rights, rights over private property ownership, free speech (politically correct thinking being all the vogue), 4th amendment protections from illegal search and seizure (asset forfeiture rules), 9th and 10th amendment rights as the government takes control of ever increasing parts of daily life, etc.
