You're correct on the accelerated 30, except that it is a very hard schedule to stick to. I know, I tried. Forcing the schedule is easier, especially if you are prepaying on a 15 year.... I am only paying 500 more for a 15...that's pretty good. If I prepay, I can further reduce the total spent. Guaranteed returns that the market WON'T match with a similar guarantee. Gotta read your link.
