My guess (and it is no more than that) is that something was sent in writing to Waterhouse, who presumably either did some DD on it or perhaps it was on the offerer's counsel's stationery. However, my question to the broker was whether the offer to the shareholders was a public document and the answer to that was "no." I did not pursue the question of the basis for the grounds on which Waterhouse was acting.

Unfortunately (IMO), the general market debacle is going to make it even harder for AXLE to gain visibility unless they do something proactive about it.
