Patrick,
Here's a present for you ----> . It's a grain of salt.
When dealing with the management of small cap technology companies, you'll find it useful. I am a long-term investor in TDFX because of their technical expertise and track record. Having worked with many high-tech companies, I recognize that "ship dates" are a total myth and I don't hold that against them as a shareholder. Based on your statements, I must assume that you don't hold any Microsoft, Intel, Dell, Compaq, Cisco, IBM, Apple, etc. because these companies have all shipped high-profile products later than their public statements also.
Bottom line: Ballard probably IS blowing (some) smoke. That's a part of his job. Doesn't change my opinon of the technical competence of the company though.
