Stephen;

<<What are your thoughts on when Asia will start recovery?

While others may argue I still think there is a tremendous amount of house cleaning to do related to bank debt. The lowering at the fed is a good step IMO. But keep in mind "Asia" is not a single entity by any stretch (forgive me for preaching to the choir here...I know you know that). We will see a pick up in property prices in Singapore and Hong Kong first imo. I think we will also see oil prices begin to return from their retreat. Look for recovery in Korea but only after Japan is well on the way to mending their banking problems. Hmm..just guessing...Q3,99 for rising RE prices in S'Pore and HK with Korea employment declines bottoming about the same time. Ditto Thailand.

Best,
Stitch
