Your post makes a lot of sense. I've gone through shorting MSFT, then DELL, and today I started on YHOO. Overall I made money on MSFT. On DELL I tried too early but now have a lot of my losses back. YHOO losing so far but just trying to get in really. Even if these stocks meet analyst's projections or beat them they were all overvalued and needed a correction. DELL could still be up for the year when it reaches fair value which is more than I can say for quite a few others.
