e-mail: Position trades I might consider:EK,MMM,CL,G,PG,MCD,CLX (still in play). BMY,SGP look attractive. but I still maintain my stand that the market is too erratic at this time for position trades. I will still exit 90-95% of all positions at close of the trading day.

CLX has been very strong, earnings coming out 16th. I have seen other threads tout plays and make predictions and also seen the tragedies of those predictions. All I can say is that I am 'sniffing' around these plays for longer term and have successfully daytraded them in October. Ones I've held 1-4 days were CCE,CLX,PEP and G. I've been stopped out of profitable trades on occasion when I elected to hold too long: SLM,COST,SWY are examples..

I won't consider a position trade in a shoddy company (to reiterate Judy's position)nor would I consider a position trade in a severely beaten down company. They behave cyclically and are not dependable.
