When I said CPQ statements about the sub 1k PC were deceptive, I didn't mean to imply a sinister motive. I just meant their business model was so screwed up with wasting inventory at the high end, that they probably made little or nothing at all at the high end. Since CPQ claimed to have invented the Sub 1k PC, I think they felt a need to defend it with investors.

Remember CPQ made very little profit over the last two qtrs, and this qtr will probably only be marginally better.
