You are correct, the $18 million was in the prior quarter. I mistakenly assumed the reference to the adjustment discussed in the Q3 10-Q was commenting on the current period. I stick by my statement, however, that timing differences and the failure to disclose infrastructure vs handset and license vs royalty revenue makes calculations of the per phone royalty virtually impossible.

If you do not wish to believe that I have talked to licensee firms that's your business. But, I believe that QCOM has not disclosed the royalty fees because there is a large disparity between different agreements. Some licensees may indeed pay $15 or more per phone, others, that have their own intellectual property or volume bargaining power, pay far less.

Obviously you have already made your wager which has only cost you a little more than $15 million today.
