Can't argue with that logic. COGIF has clearly defined its future whereas ALYD has only hinted at it.

IT shops have been around for ages (so to speak) and will continue to be around as long as computers still need to be programmed. But just as workers have been replaced by computers, as computers and software become more powerful, grunt-level programmers will be replaced by software. I'm sure COGIF will break new ground and continue to keep their staff busy, and I'm sure there's plenty of mundane tasks that ALYD can automate once their focus is off of Y2K.

In the mean time discussing the merits of Y2K-related companies at this point in time is like discussing whose sailboat will hold up better in a hurricane. I just hope when the storm blows over I can pry mine off a tree.
