Ralph, I also began with JD in 1993. I primarily bought International recommendations, but I bought some US.
Of course I made money on the European buys, but lost some of the gains by not getting out at the top. My big losers are CPPKY, FFS, and CLB, stocks on which I followed his advice and bought more as the price slowly sank.
Tuesday after I received the October issue, I loaded a portfolio (about30)of his buy recommendations in Yahoo, and entered one share of each and as purchase price, the price at which he recommended buying.
As of a few minutes ago, the portfolio value was down over 16%, That is how much this market is dropping. Of course, this is a general decline, and I am not blaming him for this decline, just making an observation.
I have lost confidence in him and, like you, will probably just let the subscription expire. |
