When I hear preachers, such as James Kennedy, in Florida, saying that this is a Christian nation, and those that have not accepted Christ are the enemies of Christians, I get images of black shirted militias rooting out Jews, Gypsies, Muslims and other non-Christians.
And then, we have Pat Robertson, the most powerful religious leader in this country, saying that his God was going to attack Orlando, Florida with a hurricane, because Disney had a gay day at the park!
It's happened so many times in the past. It could happen here. In fact, religious terrorism has happened here before. For example: Look at the history of Salem, Mass.
Also, in our past, soldiers used to charge into battle against outgunned and somewhat defenseless indians yelling "Onward for God". before they slaughtered innocent women and children.
