Your numbers clearly indicate that Intel is moving away from socket 7. AMD's numbers clearly indicate that socket 7 is not going a way anytime soon. K6-3 will make it rather obvious that CPU bus architecture is not interesting on the desktop.

When will Intel have faster versions of AGP available? That is far more interesting than the speed of the CPU bus. Memory bandwidth between main memory and the graphics adapter is a real factor in system performance, unlike the phony-baloney Slot 1/2/A argument.
