>>Is there any reason why coms would be singled out again today for punishment?<<

We're not being singled out...Greenspan hates all stocks<g>

>>If csco holds the line, shouldn't coms end today with some
dignity?<<

come on q...you know how stocks work. Sometimes one stock has
a better day than the other, and the next day it's vice versa.

Overall, COMS has been doing OK, but it looks like nothing
can keep it from being dragged down from a weak market. The
most striking thing I've seen is that usually volume is very
low, unlike DELL, MSFT, or CSCO. Most COMS owners are hunkering
down for the long haul. MMs are probably still trying to
scoop up good deals from those that must sell at as
low a price as possible.

If we're not truly in a bear market (earnings wise), I think
COMS will rebound faster than it has in the past.

[just took another look at CSCO. Yes, it is rebounding with
more strength at the moment...maybe somebody said something
positive...CSCO will make earnings - no problems]

PS...there have been rumors about G-span easing by 1/2 a point.
He doesn't have to wait until November to do this. I wonder
how much truth there is to this rumor. I think it would be
great news if it really happened.
