10-7-98

Wednesday trading was almost too volatile for most traders. If you took only the moves over 50 points, we traded nearly 850 points intraday. Our numbers were so accurate it was spooky. We called the top within 2 points and the bottom within 0.05 points. Not to toot my own horn, buy no one else does, that is phenomenal. We sold our OEX Oct 485 Calls at 7850 for 13 1/2, a 3 3/4 point move. We then bought the OEX Oct 480 Puts at 10 1/4 and sold them at 7630 for 19 1/4, a 9 point gain. We did buy the OEX Oct 480 Calls at 7630 for 10, looking for higher prices. This is the first time since 1990 that I have ever said that the OEX options are too volatile for most traders. Moves of 100+ point in the DJIA can happen in a matter of minutes. Unless you have nerves of steel and a high tolerance for risk, you should be on the side lines. Our 3 point gain in KO was the only equity of any consequence for today, as all of the action was in the OEX options. If that is the kind of short term trading you like, we are offering a 1 week free trial, which includes our Intraday Update. Email us at stocks@flinet.com and ask for Traders Faxline.

NATIONAL REHAB PROPERTIES (NRPI) $.38 + .03 on 36,500 shares. We issued an AGRESSIVE BUY on NRPI and the stock started to respond today. You have to realize that since the Company will be starting to build new homes in the Miami and very soon Tampa, that will net them twice the profit that they would have had reabing older homes. They also have the advantage that new homes are more desirable by home buyer than older homes. There is a huge market for "affordable housing" in Florida, especially South Florida, where homes prices are sky high. Tampa will be the next city for the new construction and it is a very strong housing market. With a profit of twice what they would have netted before, the Company could net nearly what the current stock price is. With any amount of buying we should see a move back to the $.75-1.00 area in the short term. NRPI could earn $.20+ over the next year which would give the stock a value of at least $2-3. There is another newsletter writer whose recommendation will be out in the next week.

US AMATEUR SPORTS (USSP) $.24 + .04 on 20,000 shares. We are hearing that a very large deal is in the works that could transform this company.
There is a very positive article coming out next week about USSP's
Internet business in Market Pulse. The author calls USSP an undiscovered Internet stock that could have tremendous potential. There is also another newsletter writer who is recommending the stock next week.
Although its been a long time in coming, we could see the stock finally get the recognition it deserves for both its Internet and
sports/paintball business. Moving above $.30 should take the stock much higher. The stock traded to $1.50 when we first recommended it. It should be at those levels again.

TESSA HEALTH CARE (TSSA) 2 9/32 The stock has acted well through the last week of super high negative volatility. I think that just a little positive price action will get the stock moving. Revenues from the clinics are now at $2+ million per month with net income of over $400,000 per month. That puts the Company at $25 million in revenues and $5 million in net income. That is equal to earnings of $.50 per share. Those numbers are based on the 40 clinics that are under TESSA's banner. They are not estimates, but rather the actual revenues and earnings. There are another 40 clinics under contract that should be acquired before the end of the year. That should double those numbers.<<
