The gross proceeds of C$1.8 million will be used to increase the working capital of the Company. Rex has also completed a private placement of 3.0 million shares at C$ 1.00 per share each with a European Investor. The gross proceeds of C$ 3.0 million will be used to repay the US$ 2.0 million convertible debenture issued on June 23, 1998.
