Let me really stick my neck out with this one (I'm sure it will be discounted): Based on business VLSI already has in the pipeline for Q4 and 99, and assuming 1) Semiconductors continue their recovery, and 2) US & EC stay out of recession in 99 and Asia improves, I can see VLSI returning to the margins they had in late 97, and VLSI could earn $2. A PE multiple of 25 is reasonable considering semiconductors back up and the high growth markets VLSI serves. Therefore, I actually think $50 is possible in 99... JB
