Re: "INTEL IS REPLACING SOCKET 7 SALES with Slot 1 Sales FASTER THAN AMD IS INCREASING their own K6/Socket 7 sales."

Given AMD's production constraints (1 Fab) if this statement weren't true then the CPU market would be shrinking at an unbelievable rate. So why are you at all excited about it? Even the wildest AMD bulls never believed that AMD could sell more K6s than Intel sells PIIs.

After all, without AMD in the market the market would be near 100% slot 1 right now (given that slot 1 is all Intel is producing until the debut of socket 370).

In the future, please don't regale us with tales the obvious. We're not your friends from the Intel thread who need everything explained.
