It is my understanding that until the card has either been used up or expires, that the revenues allowed for that card cannot be booked. You do not want to book revenues for this quarter on a card that has been activated then used next quarter. What happens then is that DCI does not actually incur the expenses of the phone time used on that card until it has been used. But if you have already shown the revenues on the books this quarter you have a short fall against expenses next quarter, when the time from that card is actually used. If the revenue is booked up front, as with SMTK, than you run into all types of booking problems. Hope this helps.
