Poodle - I am considering starting a hedge fund.

I have a track record of shorting convertible stocks that has been averaging 8 - 10% return / month for some time now.

I guess I am following Roger's strategy - while the market was falling like crazy, I did not distract myself from trading the convertible and spend a lot of time working on a hedge fund proposal. Instead, I focused on making a killing with my current account.

Now that most of these have dropped off the table and there is less and less to trade, I will start focusing on putting together the prospectus and raising capital over a 3 - 6 month period.

But I am finishing a PhD at the moment, so everything will have to wait.

Jon
