From what I can tell, the only problem with QDEL is that most of upper management picked up and left. Though this type of development should alarm any investor, I have no idea whether it was a reaction to impending bad numbers (I believe this is the assumption of The Street), or if the board thought to do some proactive housecleaning for some other reason (rolling over so easily on the BD lawsuit perhaps?) in order to strengthen the long-term prospects of the company.

I guess we won't know until the numbers come out.
