The only time we need an effective government is during war. In peace time, it's best that they fight with each other. Len, Six years ago the economy was being stifled by a massive budget deficit. The malaise caused by this deficit had far reaching impact on the economy. It was believed to be an intractable problem which could not be resolved in this millenium. I for one am extremely grateful for the successful efforts made by the President and Congress to correct this problem. "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance." Not eternal cynicism. Scumbria
