To thread: Shell and Texaco work together very closely on the downstream side of the industry; through JV and streamlining their gas distribution points; now also in Europe (recently there were announcements about this). This is pure speculation of course; but might this just help a little bit in any negotiations between Shell and RNTK? Possibly this had been discussed before on this thread... John
